THE FACILITIES
Campus Development & Landscaping Plan
The school has a wide, clean and beautiful ground. Its rural setting couldn’t be more conducive to learning, surrounded as it is by lush greenery and a generous open space.
The rooms had been designed with children in mind. There are no staircases to reckon with, only child-friendly walkways that preschoolers can manage with great ease. A preschooler, for instance, can easily breeze through the walkway from the entrance, and on to the classroom or library even with his bag-on-rollers in tow. Even a child, parent or visitor on a wheelchair can easily go around the school property with this kind of setup.
The wash area on the corridor was also designed with children in mind, and so were the comfort rooms for boys and for girls.
The library offers the comforts of home as can be seen in the more progressive bookstores in Metro Manila. Children may opt to use bean bags while reading or sit on the floor using rubber mats. The more traditional ones may choose the small tables and chairs designed for preschoolers.
Cleanliness and orderliness are much a part of the school’s daily upkeep. Careful steps are being taken to ensure that the whole premises remain clean from morning till dismissal time.
In keeping with its rural setting, the school has reserved an area for gardening where children would be able to plant crops they themselves could care for and harvest in time-- perfect for a barangay where a great number of households make a living out of agriculture.
In time, a more spacious playground will be developed, with thoughtful and nature-inspired landscaping to suit preschoolers.
